1. Accepting these Terms
By accessing, authorizing, or using ServoX, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. A person who authorizes ServoX for a Discord server represents that they have authority to install or manage the application for that server and to approve the Discord permissions and ServoX actions they request.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement for your country and be legally able to agree to these Terms. ServoX uses Discord authentication and a private linking-key process. You are responsible for protecting your Discord account, linking keys, sessions, and any AI-provider credentials you supply, and for promptly revoking access after suspected compromise.
3. What ServoX does
ServoX converts natural-language requests into structured Discord-management plans. Plans are validated against an allowlisted action catalog and generally require explicit approval before execution. Large requests may be divided into a series of separately generated and approved phases. ServoX may also provide advisory chat, configuration backups and restores, security reports, tickets, role automation, AutoMod configuration, DM-first modmail, welcomer and community automation, server logging, moderation cases and appeals, music playback, economy tools, invite tracking, temporary voice channels, module-aware command registration, operational health checks, and audit records.
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. Review every phase, selected or excluded action, warning, dependency, affected resource, and permission requirement before approval. Excluding an action changes what ServoX will execute and may automatically exclude dependent actions.
Web Intelligence
When enabled by the deployment owner and permitted by the selected server's settings, ServoX may search the public web and read public HTTP(S) pages to ground advisory answers with more current information. Web results and fetched page text are external information, may be incomplete, outdated, misleading, malicious, unavailable, or inaccurate, and should not be treated as guaranteed facts merely because ServoX cites a source.
Users may not use ServoX Web Intelligence to bypass authentication, access controls, paywalls, robots or anti-abuse measures, private networks, internal services, or another system's security boundaries. ServoX may block URLs, domains, protocols, redirects, addresses, or requests that present security, abuse, capacity, or compliance risk. The default search backend is a ServoX-managed, loopback-only SearXNG service; SearXNG aggregates external search engines, so use of Web Intelligence remains subject to the availability, rate limits, anti-abuse systems, and applicable terms of those upstream services. Web Access may be disabled globally or per server at any time.
4. Your AI provider
ServoX is designed for bring-your-own-provider operation. When you connect an AI provider or compatible endpoint, your prompts and any server context you authorize may be sent to that provider. A Discord server owner may optionally share one of their saved providers with eligible server managers. The API key remains encrypted in ServoX storage and is not revealed to those managers.
The credential owner authorizes eligible users to consume that provider under the selected access level, including an optional custom-role allowlist, and remains responsible for the provider's terms, privacy practices, usage limits, charges, model behavior, and any cost caused by approved sharing. Eligible users remain responsible for the prompts and plans they submit. The owner can disable sharing, change the credential, or apply a ServoX daily request cap at any time.
ServoX request caps count shared requests but do not estimate or guarantee provider cost. Provider-side rate limits, credit limits, and charges still apply. Deleting a credential that is shared with a server disables the dependent sharing configuration.
5. Discord permissions, approvals, and server responsibility
You grant ServoX only the Discord permissions you choose during installation or later configuration. Some features require elevated Discord permissions. Discord role hierarchy, channel permissions, ownership rules, API limits, and live permission rechecks still apply.
An approval is an instruction to execute the displayed plan. Medium- and high-risk operations may require stronger confirmation and may create a safety backup. Backups reduce risk but do not guarantee that every message, member state, third-party integration, deleted resource, or external service can be restored.
Moderation assessments and generated case summaries are decision-support tools, not factual findings or automatic verdicts. Authorized server staff remain responsible for reviewing evidence, applying server policy, choosing actions, resolving appeals, and correcting inaccurate generated information.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use ServoX to violate law, Discord rules, another person's rights, or a server's authorization boundaries. You may not use ServoX to harass, deceive, distribute malware, evade platform enforcement, collect data without authority, compromise accounts, interfere with the service, discover or exploit vulnerabilities without permission, or issue destructive instructions for servers you do not control.
7. Deployment-owner administration and enforcement
ServoX is a managed service operated through a deployment controlled by the ServoX deployment owner. By using ServoX, you acknowledge that the deployment owner retains administrative control over ServoX itself and may use owner-only operational controls to protect, maintain, secure, or administer the service. These controls are separate from ordinary Discord-server administration and do not give the deployment owner ownership of your Discord server or authority beyond the permissions and access available to ServoX.
To the extent reasonably necessary and permitted by applicable law and Discord's rules, the deployment owner may: cause ServoX to leave a Discord server; restrict, suspend, or deny a server or account access to ServoX; cancel or stop pending ServoX plans, jobs, automations, or restores; resynchronize Discord metadata; disable or quarantine ServoX-managed functionality; delete expired or operator-managed ServoX backups; remove obsolete deployment or rollback artifacts; restart or stop ServoX services; release ServoX bot quarantines; resolve internal operator tasks; and delete or purge ServoX-controlled guild records when retention is no longer required or justified.
Administrative action may be taken for security incidents, abuse, suspected compromise, legal or Discord-policy compliance, resource exhaustion, maintenance, service integrity, unsupported or dangerous configurations, repeated misuse, or other legitimate operational reasons. Where reasonably practicable, ServoX may provide notice or an opportunity to export eligible data first; immediate action may occur without advance notice when delay would materially increase security, legal, operational, or abuse risk.
Owner Console controls do not waive or override applicable privacy, consumer-protection, data-deletion, contract, or platform rights. ServoX will not rely on these Terms to retain Discord API data after retention is no longer permitted by applicable law or Discord's developer requirements.
8. Backups, downloads, and retention
ServoX configuration backups are a temporary operational safety feature, not permanent storage. Unless a backup is temporarily protected because an eligible restore is queued or running, ServoX's default automatic retention period for stored configuration backups is three days from creation. Expired backups are removed by scheduled cleanup and may also be removed during operator maintenance.
Authorized server managers may download an available configuration backup as a JSON export before it expires. Server owners may delete eligible backups earlier. The deployment owner may also delete backups earlier when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, capacity management, or service maintenance. You are responsible for securely storing any copy you download and for complying with applicable law and Discord rules when using or sharing it.
ServoX does not guarantee that a backup will remain available for the full three-day period if the service is discontinued, the data must be deleted, storage fails, Discord or applicable law requires deletion, or an emergency makes earlier removal reasonably necessary.
9. Your content, server data, and deletion
You remain responsible for prompts, configuration, server information, backup data, ticket or modmail content, and other material submitted through your deployment. You grant the deployment operator a limited license to process that material only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, administer, troubleshoot, and maintain ServoX; comply with law and Discord requirements; and protect the service and its users.
Removing ServoX from a Discord server does not necessarily delete every ServoX-controlled record at the same moment. Retention and deletion are governed by the Privacy Policy, applicable law, Discord's developer requirements, active operational needs, and valid deletion requests.
10. Availability, maintenance, and changes
ServoX may change, pause, limit, or discontinue features. Maintenance, Discord outages, AI-provider failures, permission changes, rate limits, storage limits, or network problems may interrupt operation. The deployment owner may perform maintenance or emergency service actions when reasonably necessary to keep ServoX secure and operational.
These Terms may be updated as ServoX features, operator practices, Discord requirements, or applicable law change. The current effective date will be posted on this page. Material changes will be communicated when required by applicable law.
11. Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or terminated when reasonably necessary to protect users, Discord servers, the service, or third parties; respond to legal requirements or Discord enforcement; address abuse or security concerns; manage severe resource constraints; or enforce these Terms. You may stop using ServoX, remove the bot from a server, revoke Discord authorization, and request deletion of eligible operator-controlled personal information.
Termination does not require ServoX to retain data that would otherwise be deleted, and does not prevent limited retention when required or permitted for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other lawful purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
ServoX is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. No guarantee is made that AI output, backups, rollback, security analysis, uptime, Discord changes, integrations, or downloaded exports will be error-free, complete, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the ServoX deployment operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost data, revenue, reputation, or opportunities; AI-provider charges; or Discord-server changes resulting from use of ServoX. Where monetary liability may lawfully be limited, aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid directly for ServoX during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
This section does not limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or statutory right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited. ServoX is currently offered without a platform subscription fee, but a zero-dollar payment history does not eliminate any non-waivable remedy provided by law.
14. Third-party services
ServoX interoperates with Discord, user-selected AI providers, and, when Web Intelligence is enabled, a deployment-configured search provider and public third-party websites. Those services and websites are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, technical limits, availability, and enforcement decisions. A citation or search result does not mean ServoX endorses the linked site, its operator, or its content. ServoX is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord unless explicitly stated otherwise.
15. Governing law and mandatory rights
Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the ServoX deployment operator's location. Conflict-of-law rules do not require a user to surrender non-waivable rights available in the user's jurisdiction. Any dispute must be brought in a court or forum that has lawful jurisdiction over the parties and the dispute.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms, enforcement actions, or operator-controlled data may be directed to the ServoX deployment operator through the ServoX support page. Do not post passwords, API keys, OAuth tokens, backup files, or other secrets in a public support channel.
